With no help from both employee and the manager with a very rude behavior while i was gently asking them that i would really love to try the restaurant before i leave tomorrow and i would really appreciate if you can give me that table on left corner which is empty right now or the one to the right corner, it’s booked sir!, but i literally called you to have a table and you said you don’t need reservation, so i will ask you a clear question, is that you don’t need reservations or you don’t accept? And she said No you don’t need, but you accept right? So why didn’t you take my reservation when i asked for a table? She went upset and all mad giving me a mixed up answers and i felt internally she was lying at some points, then i asked her the following question: I went to ferdi at 5:05 pm and i asked a table for one and i got a Big No there is no availability and i said you literally told me you don’t need reservations at this time. Regarding the burguer, it’s not different to shake shack or five guys. I don’t think I have ever been bullied by a waiter/receptionist in this way before. Overall, just a bad experience I have not been through before. I felt it was very un classy, as a french rooted restaurant I would have expected them rather kinder, exquisit & Chic. The other two staff members serving were no different, just rude, doing an effort not to smile, nor talk with guests, basically, this people should not be serving in a restaurant. The place is small, feels ‘COVID-y’ inside there, they should open the door or fix an air purifier. They should have served the burguers quicker in order to allow more time for dessert or extend time. When we finished the burguers, we wanted dessert but the waitress deceided not to serve us because would take time to prepare even if we were still 10 mins to complete the 1 hour and our table was for 1 hour only. This is the same guy (waiter/receptionist) This is bullying and the ‘prank’ lasted for quite some time. The prank lasted a bit too long and my friend felt uncomfortable as he is Middle Eastern. Although none of us disclosed this, the waiter noticed my friend was middle Eastern and made a rude prank saying that the burguer he was about to eat had pork (bacon) and that no changes were alllowed. Once in the table, one of us cannot eat pork for religious reasons. Answer from the receptionist was: it’s a joke (after much trying to make sense of his request) the reservation when my phone number was never been given to him but that of my fiend who did the reservation. Asked me for my phone number to validate. The Receptionist, bullied myself when entering the restaurant. In regards to the burguer we ordered, it’s not that different to a mainstream burguer from the high street. The visit was on Sunday 14th Nov at 19:00pm London.

This is a pure example of racism, and discrimination against Americans. One minute before as all this was happening I saw another table walk in and their orders being taken. Which I did and when he read it he said “our mistake, the restaurant is closed.” I’ve begged him for a table and told him that we only wanted to share a cheeseburger and that we would be out of the restaurant very quickly.

I asked for a table for two, and the guy inside the bar yelled “fermé, fermé!” I explained to him that I had sent a text message that morning and I was told that walk-ins were welcomed until 4:30 PM and it was 4:06! He did not believe me and asked that I show him the message. We walked in at 4:05 PM, and it took about two minutes until anybody acknowledged we were standing by the door. So, we finish lunch on the other side of the city and literally walked 2 miles to get to Ferdi before 4:30. it’s without reservation from 1:15 to 4:30. I sent a text message and they responded “hello only saturday for lunch ! from 1:15 until 4:30 last order. I had tried to make a reservation through the concierge at our hotel and they had confirmed that they only except reservations via text message. We had accommodated our schedule so that we could try their famous cheeseburger at 4:30, in between lunch and dinner. I had a weekend in Paris and picked several spots I wanted to dine in a short period of time.
